Kuala Lumpur guest houses - guesthouse recommendations

Green Hut is a KL backpacker stalwart
There is budget accommodation in Kuala Lumpur to suit all pockets. The majority of KL guesthouses are found in Chinatown, with a few spilling over into neighbouring Little India as well. However, this is not where all the bargains are located and there are a few decent but cheap options in the business districts as well.
The cheapest dorm rooms only cost a few dollars and a growing number of guesthouses are including breakfast, wifi internet access and refreshments. If you are looking for a few more luxuries then an air-conditioned room with cable television and hot water should only let you back US$25.
But for a real splurge why not check for promotional rates at some of the best hotels in the world, Kuala Lumpur is the place to splash out with incomparable value for money. More on Kuala Lumpur hotels.
