Many people come to Kuala Lumpur for work and end up choosing to stay for a prolonged period in the city. Staying in KL is an attractive proposition for expats as there is a high standard of living and many opportunities to escape to the coast for diving and sunbathing at the weekend.

Families of professionals who work in Kuala Lumpur often have the hardest time.
